Any Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator or Veteran Customer would say that this is the most exciting time of the Stampin’ Up! year because its Sale-A-Bration….. Which means FREE STAMPS….. we are getting closer to the end of Sale-A-Bration and the Summer Mini Catalogue which both end on 31st March 2010. I have a CRAZY idea that I will do a project count down each day for the rest of March……. Yes, that means daily updates of new projects using products from the Summer Mini or Sale-A-Bration Stamps.
I am kicking the ball off by taking up this weeks challenge over at the Just Add Ink blog to create an Easter project, I have used the Chocolate Bunny Stamp from page 3 of the Summer Mini view online HERE. I stamped the Bunny in Chocolate Chip ink on Close to Cocoa Cardstock then cut out the image and sponged the edge of the Bunny to add a little “depth”.
I made a little basket to hold a real Chocolate Bunny that I am making for all my Family at Easter. This is the basket that super lovely and talented Makeesha Byl wrote a tutorial for over at Splitcoast, HERE is the link. I changed the size a little but it would give you an idea.
And just to show you the two together….
Materials used:
Stamps: Chocolate Bunny, Priceless and Retired SU! Easter Greeting
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa
Other: Pink Ribbon, Wide Oval Punch, Sizzlits Die, PP Button and Candy Lane DSP
Come back tomorrow to see what I have to share with 15 days to go before Sale-A-Bration and Summer Mini End…….
