I warn you that you are
about to see some horrible
self promoting ahead!!!!
…….
I don’t do it often please believe me!
……..
I was already excited on the lead up to the 13th
I knew I had my first blog post as a member
of the MDS Design team was going live.
……
The night before my sweet friend/downline
Louise Sharp posted in our team FB group
I had 2 cards featured on the main
page of the Stampin’ Up! home page!
…….
…….
By the time I got to check it out
I had three projects at one time, featured.
I LOVE Stampin’ UP! and what I do
but this little bit of acknowledgement
has me beaming from ear to ear!
Now that is over,
……..
Here is the post and projects I prepared
for mydigitalstudio.net and stampinup.com

My Mum almost died that I admitted
so publicly that I lack culinary skills.

I’m getting a head start on my holiday celebrations,
and I wanted to share some of my designs to
help get you excited to use MDS this holiday season.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and
I love getting together with friends to celebrate the last year. Over time,
my friends have become more aware of the fact that
I lack some cooking skills and that I prefer
to make the table’s décor look amazing while
putting less focus on the food preparation.
This year, however, I plan to wow them with a meal
that is both delicious and served on time.
I have used MDS to help me be prepared with the décor
for my dinner party so I can focus all my attention on cooking.
The invitations are now in the mail to my friends.
I like to select a theme or set colors which I carry through all the items I create.
This year I selected the Berry Christmas Stamp Brush Set in
Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler as the foundation of my décor.
Here you can see I used the same Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler colors.
I added a little Baked Brown Sugar for sweetness with
that yummy ruffled ribbon on the belly band around
the menu and napkin. I added ornaments from the
Something for Christmas Stamp Brush Set to the
holly image from Berry Christmas Set.
I created Christmas Crackers to grace the table and they also act as a name card.
{I created this using the Envelope Punch Board, I will post more on that later in the week}
At the end of the evening everyone will receive a little Christmas treat from me.
{Again I used the new Envelope Punch Board, I will post more on that later in the week}
I used the Hooray for Tags Designer Template as the tag outline
and the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies to cut a hole for
the Whisper White string. Hopefully these
projects have gotten you in the holiday spirit.
