Thank GOODNESS it’s Friday! It has been one of those weeks, but I have some time locked for me to craft this weekend…well I hope. Fridays not only brings the weekend but a new challenge at TGIF, which is together forever. Think wedding and anniversary cards. My creation was inspired by my friend Christyle who is finally getting married, she is still at the early stages of planning and I am helping with designing some of the elements of the wedding, she is having a rustic wedding and I have been stalking pinterest looking at rustic/county weeding and I think it has leaked into my card. The base is Sahara Sand with the vine clear embossed and the writing stamped in Blackberry Bliss, the heart is cut from printed paper Farmers Market DSP. I played and played with this card, I had the heart stitched which looked wrong, so I replaced it then added a small button on the heart and that looked wrong, I had vellum over the top and that lost the lovely design of the DSP. I ended up going with a plain heart. #lessismoretheysay
