I always remember my art teacher in high school would say “blue and green should never be seen”. Over the years I have used blue and green a handful of times on cards, mostly male cards. It is time to let go of Mrs Lesly’s words, Pool Party and Old Olive look great together.
The stamp set I have used for the flower is Fragrant Flowers and it is retiring, the good news it has been reduced to $16.40 in Photopolymer and $24.60 for the Cling both were $41. The matching dies are now $21.60 from $54. The stamps are a great buy!
I have used Stampin’ Blends to colour the flower, Pool Party and Old Olive.
Inside the card, I have just stamped a flower on the left corner and added a birthday greeting.
I made a little gable-style box.
